What the Commission does
Administrative grievances against ministries, departments, agencies and local government councils in the State.
Examine reports of corrupt practice and establish, on evidence, what took place.
Resolve matters between a citizen and a public body where a settlement will serve better than a proceeding.
Study how public bodies work and recommend changes that close the openings corruption depends on.
Explain to the public what corruption costs, and how and where to report it.
Structure
Receives, examines and investigates complaints and reports of corrupt practice.
Handles administrative grievances against public bodies and officers.
Advises the Commission and conducts proceedings arising from its work.
Runs awareness campaigns and civic education on corruption prevention.
Examines the practices of public bodies and recommends corruption-resistant reforms.
Manages the Commission's finances, personnel and general administration.
